Carolina 04:23
When I get to Carolina I'm gonna set my eyes to sea I'm gonna stare out for miles and play it over in my mind Just seeing if I can find me some peace Had to get out of Wisconsin On that wagon gonna find my way And the good Lord be thanked Anything to let go of that drink Just seeing if I can find me some peace But oh oh oh I've got a feelin' This road will take me back someday Oh oh oh I've got a feelin' It won't be long till you see me coming your way Sitting in New Mexico About an hour from the sun Dippin skinny in a hole with some people that I don't know But we're all just trying to find us some peace When I get to California I'm gonna dig my toes right in Sipping wine straight from the vine Breathe in, rejoice and just stay kind Seeing if I could find me some peace But oh oh oh I've got a feelin' This road will take me back someday Oh oh oh I've got a feelin' It won't be long till you see me coming your way When I get to Carolina I'm gonna set my eyes to sea I'm gonna stare out for miles and play it over in my mind Just seeing if I can find me some peace

Starry Night 03:42
It must be something on the passing wind The whisper in my ear or the brush to my skin The way she can move me and leave me alright My should is soothed on this starry night Resting here under the sky Thoughts of you would keep my eyes wide As I hum this tune the moon shines so bright And my soul is soothed on this starry night All I'm saying, I was so alone yesterday Then you came along and everything was alright Oh my God, could this be a dream on this starry night

I was in love with all of my heart and nothing in the world could ever tear us apart Nothing 'cept the pills and the ills they bring I found her clinging onto life on the fire escape She said, "I've got to get to heaven. Man, I just can't wait Enough is enough. I've had all that I can take" I guess what I called love wasn't good enough It feels like Heaven's just a box with some dirt on top I've been talking in my sleep I've been lying to my own dreams It's a little bit harder than it seems To let you go when you still gotta hold on me I went down to Austin trying to clear my mind Looking for some love or whatever I could find And I found it in a bottle down at Darwin's on 6th But now every night I love myself another 1/5 I've been talkin in my sleep I've been lyin to my own dreams It's a little bit harder than it seems To let you go when you still gotta hold on me I was in love with all of my heart nothing in the world could ever tear us apart I guess what I called love wasn't good enough and it feels like Heaven's just a box with some dirt on top

My head is like a hurricane, my heart is like an anchor Pulsing, pounding through my veins oil it slowly takes me under Come on, hurry with the novocaine, I can feel the danger My head is like a hurricane, my heart is like an anchor We all get lost from time to time But I just can't seem to get you off my mind The I get tossed to the side And I just don't think I'll get no sleep tonight My head is like a hurricane, my heart is like an anchor Pulsing, pounding through my veins oil it slowly takes me under Come on, hurry with the novocaine, I can feel the danger My head is like a hurricane, my heart is like an anchor The thunder cracks every time I close my eyes And these waves keep crashing down inside my mind You're lightning. You're fog. You keep me blind But it's sinking in that you're gone for good this time My head is like a hurricane, my heart is like an anchor Pulsing, pounding through my veins oil it slowly takes me under Come on, hurry with the novocaine, I can feel the danger My head is like a hurricane, my heart is like an anchor

Kaya's Song 04:26
I didn't mean to be a player In this vicious game I'm scared of meeting with my maker Pray He'll have mercy on me And I'm dying to make you see somehow and I'm crying because I don't know just how Oh my God, I could use your help right now Everyone thinks that we're winning Because that's just what they say No on knows that we're just sinning While it happens everyday And I'm dying to get through to you now I'm crying because I don't know just how Oh my God, I could use your help right now

What about this Earth What about the Moon What about this girl Lying here in my room What about the stars What about the ocean What about the waves (of love) Can't you feel it moving Everybody move with me Groove with me all night C'mon and get on up and get down Get on out of sight Everyone just move with me Groove with me all night Til the sunlight shines it's face We'll shake them blues away See all of my friends Keep trying to tell me All about these things That I don't seem to see It's all about this Love It's all around me Open up your eyes Ain't no way you can't see So won't you move with me Groove with me all night C'mon and get on up and get down Get on out of sight Everyone just move with me Groove with me all night Til the sunlight shines it's face We'll shake them blues away

Kept on waiting for you to call me But I must have been waiting just a little too long And now you must have changed your number Because it just don't right the same Honestly what the hell was I thinking Truth be told, I was doing a little bit of drinking And I just had to find out If you sometimes think of me Well it's been so long since I've seen your face And I just had to see it again Now I pray to God that you don't get away Like I let you do way back then Keep on thinking about the first time I saw you I stood there blinking, there was nothing I could do I was so entranced by you And nothing's ever changed Well it's been so long since I've seen your face And I just had to see it again Now I pray to God that you don't get away Like I let you do way back then

Say It 04:19
I love your moves and all of the things that you do Lord, how I run through my day Just to get home to you I love your smile and all the things that you say Lord, how they run through my head And never lead me astray Oh and I know Cherish your time But it just keeps flying by And tell me when did we get so old So caught up in the grind That we never take the time Just to let anybody know Well, it's not right Because overtime I hold you I never want to let you go And it's about time that I say it And pray that I'm not too late Since the first time I saw you Since the first day we met Try as I might, I just can't get you out of my head And I've been telling everybody Even people I don't know But it'll never do anybody good If I never say it to you Oh and I know Cherish your time But it just keeps flying by And tell me when did we get so old So caught up in the grind That we never take the time Just to let anybody know Well, it's not right Because overtime I hold you I never want to let you go And it's about time that I say it And pray that I'm not too late
9.
I left you in a bottle at the bar With every step seems like everything's getting harder And I know you'd like to think it won't leave a scar But oh, you know that you are I left you in a battle of the heart Kicked your ass and left you from the start And I know you'd like to think you're not falling apart But oh, you know you are You'd never let them wrap those chains around your heart Been down this road so far so many times before And I know you'd like to think it won't leave a scar But oh, you know you are
10.
In My Eyes 06:10
In my time I've heard a thousand words I've heard a thousand lies In my life I've watched the world burn I've seen you turn your eyes In my eyes I hold an old man's tears I've seen the babies cry And now I realize I pray we'll make it soon I pray it overnight You hold me, release me you just tell me everything's just fine As you shove me and deceive me I sit and shake all through the night You Love me then leave While you tell everything's alright You hold me, release me Oh God, I've got to make it through this night

about

Thanks to the urgings of Luke Jorgensen for our band to record an album and the kindness of Phil & Carol Rachuj, Old Soul Society converted a beautiful old farmhouse in Wonewoc, WI into a makeshift studio and for an extended weekend in late 2015, we set out to record a live a album that would hopefully capture the essence of Old Soul Society’s uniquely rich, warm & authentic sound.

Old Soul Society - The Farmhouse Sessions is a testament to the power of people working together toward a common cause. The amount of collaborative effort that went into taking these songs from the notebook to The Farmhouse, to Deerwood, to the Mystery Room, to our van and finally to your hands is nothing short of a miracle.

We are honored and enlightened to be included in the collective consciousness of so many talented & generous people.
Without each of you lending your positive energies and pulling for us, this album would not have been possible.

Thank you so very much for supporting original music!
